How Do I Make a Request For a Return?
Because buypcsoft.com believes your shopping experience isn't complete until you're 100% satisfied with your purchase, we're pleased to offer "Easy Returns," the finest level of Customer Care for returning unopened software for any reason. Shipping charges are non-refundable and a 20% restocking fee is applicable to all returned, refused and cancelled orders after they have been shipped. We cannot exchange software unless they are defective or damaged. Returns or refused orders without an RMA# will be charged an additional 5% plus the 20% restocking fee (total 25%). Click here to go to Order Status and select Returns next to the appropriate Order # in order to begin the process, available 24 hours a day. All exchanges and returns are subject to buypcsoft.com's return policy below.
When Will I Receive My Credit?
Credit will be issued within 72 hours of receiving your return. All refunds for credit will be issued to the credit card account that appears on the original invoice. Shipping and handling fees are non-refundable. Please note that your financial institution may take up to 10 additional days from the date we issue the credit to post it to your actual account. Questions regarding this should be directed to your financial institution. When returning an item paid for by check or money order, a refund check will be mailed to you within 14 business days from the time we receive it.
When Will I Get My Replacement Product?
When exchanging an item, you will be sent a replacement item and a new tracking number once buypcsoft.com receives and approves the returned item.
GENERAL RETURN POLICY:
Opened software cannot be returned for credit due to copyright infringement. The software publishers have detailed the new policy. Currently most software publishers will not accept returns from distributors / retailers if the software is opened. If you walk into your local store to purchase software, you will see this new policy in effect and it is now being posted at most retail establishments nationwide.
ALL OPEN LICENSE ORDERS:
Once your order is approved it cannot be refused, cancelled, or returned.
GUIDELINES TO FOLLOW:
- Buypcsoft.com offers a refund or exchange on unopened software only.
- Shipping and insurance charges are non-refundable.
- All Returns require a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Credits cannot be processed without one.
- An RMA must be requested within 15 days of the original invoice date. Thereafter, all sales are final.
- The returned package must be received within 15 business days of the RMA issued date. Any discrepancies could result in a delay or complete forfeiture of your credit. Please note that we can refund shipping costs only if the return is an error of our part
- All products are sold with their respective manufacturer's warranties. Please note that warranty periods and services vary by manufacturer and product.
- When returning products, we strongly recommend the use of a carrier that can track packages. You also assume responsibility for insuring the returned item.
- All items must be returned in "as new" condition in the original packaging. Defective software will be replaced with a working copy of the same title, subject to availability.
- There will be a 20% restocking fee for products returned unopened and undamaged.
- Unopened software can be exchanged within 15 days of the invoice date.
- Opened software will not be accepted for return or exchange under any condition.
- buypcsoft.com reserves the right to restrict returns to unopened or defective products at its sole discretion.
